Beaches, Beaches and More Beaches....
Southern California is home of some of the most beautiful beaches
in the world.

When Muscle Beach
is referred to, the words conjure up thoughts of muscular toned
bodies, sunshine,
sand and the
Pacific Ocean. Muscle Beach is host to physical fitness

alike. Would be Schwarzenegger’s can lift weights
with the big boys in “The Pit”, easily one
of Venice’s
most recognizable landmarks.
Venice Beach
In the mid 1970’s this sleepy little
beach community took a turn toward what we now know as the world
famous Venice Beach, a mixture of hip culture, freeform beach lifestyle
and eclectic shops and restaurants. One of LA’s most popular
tourist destinations, the boardwalk provides the perfect place
to people watch and experience
all the activities that Venice Beach has to offer.
Like its namesake in Italy, Venice, California at one time had
a series of canals that wound through the city. In 1994, the City
of Los Angeles refurbished the six remaining canals to their original
condition. Today you can take gondola tours along these canals
of Venice.
Venice is the second most popular California tourist destination,
(Disneyland being number 1) and has something for everyone. There
are special events happening year-round, including The Venice Artwalk,
Garden Tour, Venice Canals Holiday Boat Parade and the weekly Farmers
Market.
Santa Monica Beach
Another west coast jewel awaits just a few miles away. Santa
Monica is known for its world famous pier, offering fishing,
sunbathing
and general people watching. Pacific Park, an amusement park
is located on the pier, with roller coasters, rides, games
food and
fun. Admission is free and rides are pay-as-you go. A perfect
outing for the whole family!
Blocks away is more shopping, dining and street activities at
the 3rd Street Promenade.
Malibu Beach
For the ultra chic, Malibu is the place to be. A short drive
up the coast from Venice, Malibu is home to some of Hollywood’s
top stars. As you sun and shop, be sure to look around, you never
